As dusk fell, the moth-trappers set up their equipment around the reserve. 2 lights were run on the boardwalk at the edge of the marsh, while another 5 lights were scattered around the car park and orchard area. Highlight of the catch was a splendid Garden Tiger, a moth which is rarely seen in our area nowadays.
