Winter Hill and Cookham Dean

Meet at the car park at Winter Hill, nearest postcode SL6 9TS. A walk of about 2 miles on good footpaths and tracks to look at the scenery and geology of Winter Hill. The geological interest is in the escarpment overlooking the Thames gravel terraces and a chalkpit. There are excellent views from Winter Hill and Bisham Woods is on the route.
