Parking is limited in a lay-by opposite former King Charles Head pub (now private house) near Collinsend Common, RG8 7RJ (SU 66399 78854). There is another nearby lay-by at SU 66713 78784, Gutteridge’s Wood. Please car share if possible. A varied walk on footpaths through Bottom Woods on the Hardwick Estate. Lunch at the Packhorse will be available for those who want to stay on after the walk (menu here).
