Greywell Moors Reserve near Hook

Meet at the Pumping Station entrance off Deptford Lane, east of Greywell village (RG29 1BS, ///lines.erupted.detergent). There is limited parking along the access road and in Deptford Lane, or at the Fox and Goose nearby if you eat there afterwards. The Reserves Officer will give an introduction and access to the marshy northern part of this fenland reserve, we will then walk round the main reserve and back along the River Whitewater, about 1.5 miles.  We should see orchids and other wetland plants and a variety of birds, butterflies and other insects.
