Ashford Hill Woods and Meadows SSSI

Meet at the Recreation Ground car park, off the southern branch of Chapel Lane from the B3051. The site is a complex of woods and wet and dry meadows under different management including grazing, with a remarkably diverse flora and abundant insects and birds. We hope to see Dyer’s Greenweed, Greater Broomrape and many marshland plants including Marsh Stitchwort.
