Shakespeare’s Birds (Zoom)

Tuesday October 1 @ 7:45 pm - 9:30 pm

Speaker: Ailsa Claybourn

*** Change to published programme ***

There is a remarkable number of birds in Shakespeare’s writing: What is a ‘hernshaw’, and how could Hamlet tell one from a hawk? Why are House Martins important in ‘Macbeth’? Many of the birds in his plays and poetry still live near us today, and Ailsa will tell you all about these and how to recognise them.

This talk is on Zoom. Contact us for a zoom link, members will receive the link in our monthly newsletter.
