Staines Moor is an area of ancient flood meadow that has remained unploughed and as registered common land from 1065.
Migrant birds such at Wheatear and Whinchat can be encountered, as well as returning breeding birds such as Hobby, Cuckoo and a wide variety of warblers. Marsh Marigold and Ladies Smock should be in flower.
The walk will be approximately 3 miles long and will be uneven underfoot and muddy at times with 1 stile.
