Meet at Riseley Memorial Hall car park RG7 1SD (Odiham Rd off B3349 SU723629). Easy 3 mile walk (but muddy after rain) along Devils Highway to Wellesley Water Meadows – an area of marsh, tussocky grassland and tall herbs edged by the Whitewater River. A walk of historical interest with many Veteran Trees and, hopefully, Bullfinches, Swallows and Swifts. Lunch at The Bull at Riseley, RG7 1QL. Please car share if possible.
