Fungi and plants working together in a changing world (Zoom)

Tuesday February 1 2022 @ 7:45 pm - 9:30 pm

Prof Martin Bidartondo (Imperial College and RBG Kew)

Fungi helped plants to colonise land and ultimately dominate it. New findings are changing our views of how plants establish and grow with fungi. Martin will discuss examples ranging from the liverworts that carpet the ground to the orchids of the forest under-storey and to the conifer and broadleaved trees that make up our woods.

This will be an online Zoom meeting. Members will receive a link for the meeting in the email newsletter. If you are not a member but would like to sample our talks on Zoom, please contact Julia on rdnhszoom@btinternet.com and ask for a free link.
