Heal’s inaugural rewilding site, Heal Somerset, began its recovery from its ecologically depleted state at the beginning of 2023 and nature there is already beginning to bounce back. In this talk you will learn more around the wider context of rewilding, including the reasons we need it and the benefits it brings to nature and the climate. You’ll also hear about some of the changes we have seen on the site already, including the very welcome appearance of wild-living beavers, and plans for a HEAL site in every county.
