Moor Copse in Spring

Our leader Anne is the Volunteer Warden of BBOWT’s Moor Copse Reserve. Meet at the reserve car park on the east side of the A340 Theale – Pangbourne road, about 200m north of the bridge over the M4. On the 2 mile walk round the woods and meadows of the reserve, we should see Bluebells at their peak, together with Goldilocks Buttercup, Solomon’s-seal and Early-purple Orchid in the woods, Large Bittercress along the river bank and Cowslips, Marsh-marigolds and Water Avens in the meadows. The reserve sometimes floods and can be very muddy after rain.
