Meet at the overflow car park at King William IV pub, Hailey, for a 3.5 mile circular walk through open fields and woodland, with extensive views over to the North Wessex Downs. There are several steep ascents and descents. A short detour leads to Warren Bank BBOWT reserve, a 3Ha area of chalk grassland where it should still be possible to see late summer flowers.
