Pharmacist George Claridge Druce (1850-1932) was a self-made man who became a prominent botanist and politician during the early twentieth century. This talk explores Druce’s life and idiosyncrasies, his contributions to recording plant distributions in Berks, Bucks and Oxon and his multifarious legacies.
