The Holies has some of the finest Chalk grassland in Berkshire. Enjoy drifts of Wild Thyme, Dropwort, Squinancywort, Chalk Milkwort, Common Spotted-orchid, Common Rock-rose and many more species. Hunt for the elusive Early Gentian. The site has very steep slopes.<\/p>\n<p>****** UPDATE 7th June *******<\/p>\n<p>We have decided to do the walk as originally planned as the weather forecast turned out better than was expected yesterday.
