SUMMARY:Christmas Party and Photographic Competition
DESCRIPTION:Our annual get together with scrumptious food\, drinks\, quizzes and our photographic competition. For details on the rules for entering the photographic competition see here. Members are asked to bring a dish of food to be shared and also their own cutlery and plate to save on washing up and use of plastic. \nPangbourne Village Hall. The car park has introduced a £1 charge for evening parking – payment by cash or app. There is limited free parking at the back of the hall (fork right at entrance) that can be used by hall users.

SUMMARY:Winter Birds at Hosehill Lake
DESCRIPTION:Leader: Peter Driver \nMeet at the car park of the Fox & Hounds pub (RG7 4BE) at Sheffield Bottom near Theale. We will walk round the lake (about 1.5 miles)\, looking for winter wildfowl on the water and for interesting passerines in the woodland which surrounds the lake. The ground can be very muddy after rain. The walk will end around 12:15\, thereafter the pub will be open for drinks and toilet facilities but not food. \nBlack-headed Gulls
