DESCRIPTION:Leader: Tricia Marcouse \nWe are invited to take part in a bioblitz at Waltham Place\, a biodynamic farm and gardens\,  with local naturalists Trevor Brown\, Linda Fenwick and Martin Woolner. Morning area will be around  a large lake\, grassland\, hedgerows and copse. Bring a packed lunch with hot drinks and cake provided. Afternoon may include the formal gardens if there are no coach parties. Booking essential – use our contact form. She will send out directions and parking details before the event\, together with afternoon plans. Please do not use Sat Nav to get there: it is a weird area.

Some steep ascents and descents. Meet at the Natural England office\, grid reference SU728976\, post code OX49 5SG\, where the Ridgeway crosses the A40 to the North of the reserve (and we have access to toilets!). There is some parking on the Ridgeway south of the A40 but it is limited so please car share if possible. \nAston Rowant
