SUMMARY:River Loddon and Dinton Pastures
DESCRIPTION:Leader: David Owens \nMeet by the railway arch at the northwest end of Showcase cinema car park. (Signs say parking is only for cinema users\, but walkers use it regularly. Parking is also possible on Wokingham Rd on south side of A329 at SU754715). We will walk along the Loddon to Sandford Lane and back via Lavell’s and Sandford Lakes. We hope to see Loddon Lily\, other spring flowers and a mix of water birds. Paths are level\, there is one bridge with steps. \n** UPDATE ** The Reading Half marathon runs from Green Park in the morning to the town centre with lots of road closures. Please plan your route and allow for congestion (even in M4. Currently there is a flood alert on the lower River Loddon and a flood warning on the Emm Brook which may impact the walk please contact us for latest status as we may need to cancel or relocate. \nLoddon Lily
