The Wednesday morning walks, which are a steady 4 to 5 miles in length, are of general interest, with the option of a pub drink and meal afterwards. Field meetings are more focused on an area or specific flora or fauna.

All day trip for migrant birds, plants and invertebrates. High tide at 12:55 for wader roost. Visit hides overlooking fresh & salt water lagoons and walk along the ‘cliff top’ to the west. Park on Cliff Road, Hill Head, PO14 3JT (SU534023), 300m west of Reserve Centre, where there are toilets & cafe (or bring packed lunch). Meet in cafe, entry fee is £4.25 (seniors £4). Optional early evening meal afterwards at the nearby Osborne View pub (PO14 3JP).
