The Wednesday morning walks, which are a steady 4 to 5 miles in length, are of general interest, with the option of a pub drink and meal afterwards. Field meetings are more focused on an area or specific flora or fauna.

An evening walk round the gravel pits at Searle’s Farm for spring migrant birds, with a good chance of hearing Nightingales. Meet at the southern end of Pingewood Road (which is a dead end SU681701). May be muddy in places. Bring a torch.
