The Wednesday morning walks, which are a steady 4 to 5 miles in length, are of general interest, with the option of a pub drink and meal afterwards. Field meetings are more focused on an area or specific flora or fauna.
Grid Reference and start times are as stated. Please bring your own refreshments for all-day outings. For further information, or if you need a lift, please use the contact form. No dogs are allowed on Nature Reserves and in other places must be kept on short leads.

Mothing at Hartslock

Park inside the entrance to BBOWT’s Hartslock reserve (SU616796). Coming along Gatehampton Road from Goring Station, bear left at the fork after 700m. After a further 1km, continue straight along the track when the road turns up to the left. The reserve entrance is on the right after 100m. Bring torches and wear warm clothing for our annual mothing night. Be prepared to stay up late – or come along next (Sunday) morning to view the contents of the traps.
