The Wednesday morning walks, which are a steady 4 to 5 miles in length, are of general interest, with the option of a pub drink and meal afterwards. Field meetings are more focused on an area or specific flora or fauna.

Gangsdown Hill, Nuffield

Park in the lay-by on the north side of the A4130 at Gangsdown Hill near Nuffield (SU671879) for a pleasant 7 km stroll down the hill and return by a more or less parallel route. We should see an interesting range of arable and chalk grassland flowers, including Corn Marigold and Wild Candytuft.
