The Wednesday morning walks, which are a steady 4 to 5 miles in length, are of general interest, with the option of a pub drink and meal afterwards. Field meetings are more focused on an area or specific flora or fauna.

Crookham Common and Baynes Wood

Meet at the car park at the top of Crookham Hill (SU523645) for a 3-mile walk across Crookham Common and through Baynes Wood, part of BBOWT’s Bowdown Woods reserve. We might see Grayling butterflies and Autumn Lady’s-tresses on the Common, and Silver-washed Fritillary and other butterflies in Baynes Wood.
