The Wednesday morning walks, which are a steady 4 to 5 miles in length, are of general interest, with the option of a pub drink and meal afterwards. Field meetings are more focused on an area or specific flora or fauna.

Brimpton and Inwood Copse

Meet at the Three Horseshoes pub car park in the centre of Brimpton village (SU558647) where we will return for lunch. Four mile walk exploring the River Enborne and Inwood Copse for Bluebells and Solomon’s-seal. Purple Toothwort was recorded here some years ago but has not yet been rediscovered. There are two stiles and it can be muddy in places. A shorter 2.5 mile walk is available without any stiles.
