The Wednesday morning walks, which are a steady 4 to 5 miles in length, are of general interest, with the option of a pub drink and meal afterwards. Field meetings are more focused on an area or specific flora or fauna.
Grid Reference and start times are as stated. Please bring your own refreshments for all-day outings. For further information, or if you need a lift, please use the contact form. No dogs are allowed on Nature Reserves and in other places must be kept on short leads.

Asham Meads and Woodsides Meadow

Join us for a visit to either or both of these BBOWT meadow nature reserves near Otmoor. Bring your lunch so that we can picnic between the visits. Meet at the Asham Meads car park (SP590143) for the morning session and at the roadside at Woodsides Meadow for the afternoon session (SP558193). Parking is limited so please car share if possible. Both sites feature typical meadow species such as Great Burnet, Pepper-saxifrage, Yellow Rattle, Lady’s Bedstraw and butterflies including Marbled White and the orange Skippers.
