Ricki Bull led a walk through Dinton Pastures Country Park and then along the River Loddon on Wednesday 21st March. The Sallows were covered in pale golden blossom and the Blackthorns were coming into flower. A Chiffchaff was calling from close to the track between White Swan and Black Swan lakes. A Kingfisher was spotted [...] Lesley Dunlop led a walk to look at the geology of The Coombes, near Barkham, on Saturday 25th February. The walk started at the top of the site, on river terrace gravels which had been laid down about 250,000 years ago.
