On Sunday 31st May, Malcolm Storey led a field trip to the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust’s Dry Sandford nature reserve near Abingdon. On Sunday 17th May, Janet and Jerry Welsh led a field trip to Crowsley Park and Kent’s Hill. The walk started from Sonning Common in light drizzle but the weather improved as the afternoon progressed. A large colony of Bee Orchids was found in a nearby field, together with Narrow-leaved Vetch and Changing Forget-me-not. Barberry [...] On Thursday 7th May, Martin Sell led an evening walk in cool and cloudy conditions at Aston Upthorpe in the Berkshire Downs. Cowslips were abundant, particularly in the grassland surrounding Juniper Valley. 6 plants of Field Fleawort were just about to come into flower.
